Maximum Course Load

Regular Semester

The normal course load for an undergraduate student is 15 to 18 semester hours of credit. To qualify for this load a student must have either a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or a 2.0 grade point average in the previous semester or Summer Session. A student with a grade point average of 3.0 or better on all work completed may be permitted to register for a maximum of twenty one semester hours and may continue to do so as long as the 3.0 average is maintained.

Summer Session

The normal course load during the summer session is 6 to 9 semester hours of credit.
